This isn't a full-time position. We're looking for trusted collaborators we activate on a per-project basis—when we have work that fits your profile and your schedule. Collaboration starts with one project, and if the first one goes well, the next ones come naturally.
Realistic scenario: the first call is 30 minutes. If we click, the second call is technical—we talk about your past projects, problems you solved, how you choose between native and cross-platform approaches. If we call you for a real project, we start with a smaller scope (2–4 weeks) so both sides can see how the collaboration works before bigger commitments.
The work varies from project to project. Typical tasks include:
- Native iOS and Android development—Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin, complex animations, micro-interactions, integrations with native APIs
- React Native projects—when you need to ship to both platforms quickly, with the judgment to know when cross-platform works and when it doesn't
- Offline-first architecture—apps for field workers, couriers, retail staff, with sync when the network comes back
- Performance optimization—startup time, scroll performance, battery usage, memory leaks on older devices
- App Store and Play Store preparation and submission—from metadata to screenshots, with the know-how to pass review on the first try
We don't do "add one more tab to an app no one opens." Projects are focused on products users actually keep on their home screen.
- 3+ years of commercial experience with native iOS, native Android, or React Native
- Deep knowledge of one platform, working knowledge of another—we're not looking for "I know all three," we're looking for "I know one well"
- Understanding of native UI patterns—you know the difference between iOS and Android conventions, you don't ship one design for both platforms and call it "cross-platform"
- Experience with real performance work—not just "works on my device," but works on a four-year-old Android with 3GB of RAM
- Understanding of native debugging tools—Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, you can read a stack trace and a memory dump
- Communication in English (Serbian is a plus)—you can clearly explain why something is a native limitation and not a bug in your implementation
- Remote discipline—you work independently, show up to weekly demos, escalate problems early
- Experience with SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose (modern UI tooling)
- Experience with mobile CI/CD—Fastlane, EAS Build, Bitrise
- Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and analytics integrations in production
- Domain experience—fintech, healthtech, retail, or field operations
- Apps in the App Store or Play Store you can point to (ones that have survived at least a year)
- Experience with Flutter—we don't run Flutter projects often, but they do come up
- Paid on time and fairly—the rate is agreed before the project, paid by invoice within the agreed timeframe
- Concrete projects, not "a blob of work"—before each project you know the scope, deadline, rate, and client
- A technical collaborator who gets it—you won't have to explain why App Store review is the way it is, or defend the decision to use native over WebView
- Repeat collaboration—if the first project goes well, the next one usually comes 3–6 months later
- No politics—no ten layers of approval, no "what does marketing think," no tickets for bugs that three previous developers have already seen
